Please send in canned goods for the food drive. It will take place sometime before the holidays. Our class has been challenged by 2 other Catholic schools. So, we have to work very hard to collect the most canned goods for the poor. We are encouraging our students do chores for canned goods. This is to make the activity more meaningful to them. Thank you to those who have already sent in canned goods.

Also in the folder, is a list of forms/information the office needs before you can drive on field trips (and we do need drivers). I went ahead and gave the students a practice test on the last unit of spelling words. If your child got all of the words correct I counted it as the test. If your child did not get a 100%, they will have an opportunity to take a retest on the words they missed. We will be moving on the next unit. There will be a test on this list of spelling words on Friday.

Our class is down to our last 5 boxes of tissue. Please send in 2 boxes per child. This has been a very strange year with lots of sniffles and coughing. The children are using lots of tissue and hand sanitizer. (We have plenty of hand sanitizer). Thanks for all of your help.
